CONTINUED... click belowIt’s that time year again where the weather can be unpredictable. An oversized sweater is not only comfy but can also be pretty versatile. They can be stylish layered with a button down, jeans, leggings, or even the right skirt.
If you are going out but still want to wear your Over Sized Sweater you can easily throw on a heel, add some accessories and step out. Maybe you want to take it a step further; I personally love a thigh high boot! Pairing that same sweater with a legging, a heeled boot, and some jewelry; and you’ll instantly achieve a sexier look. Perhaps you want to take it further... what do I love more than a thigh high boot? A thigh high boot and a mini skirt or shorts. Now this can go from classy and sassy to trashy really quickly. The 🗝 key is to not show too much skin. Regardless of how high my boots are and how short my clothes is, I try to limit what is exposed. Its up to you to figure out what is comfortable for you and your body type. For starters my sweater is longer in the back, this can be flattering on all body types, especially if you have the coveted junk in the trunk. The tail on the back gives that sometimes needed extra coverage, and I love how it makes a sweater look extra stylish. I chose to pair my sweater with biker shorts but this look is also achievable with denim shorts, or even a leather mini skirt, the options are endless... you just have to find what looks nice with your particular sweater. The great thing about biker shorts is they are stretchy and you can pretty much make them as long or short as you would like. I personally don’t like to show more than a hand’s length of skin in the winter/ fall time. For 1 it’s cold 2 I don’t want to be tooooo sexy and 3 it’s too cold 4 it’s still too cold lol. To accentuate my waist line I added a chain belt. Adding a belt not only gives you more of a shape, it also makes the sweater look more like a dress. In this photo I used a detachable purse strap, a long necklace with a clasp can also serve as a belt if you don’t have one. This look was super easy, quick to achieve, and versatile, it also did not take up much space in my suitcase. I love pieces that can be used multiple ways without much effort.
